Check in from 3.00pm If you wish to arrive earlier please contact us.
If you are planning to arrive after 6.00pm please let us know.
Check out by 11.00am (10.00am for The Old Reading Room)
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 14 days or more before arrival date - deposit fully refundable.
Cancellations made 7 to 14 days before arrival date - 1 nights stay will be charged.
Cancellations made 6 days or fewer before arrival date, or 'no-shows' - the full cost of stay will be charged.
Cancellations must be made in writing by e-mail and are only valid once confirmed by the hotel.
We recommend that guests take out adequate travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.
Promotional and Advanced purchase rates - Cancellations are not permitted
Prices
The price includes accommodation plus any board indicated. Unless clearly stated on the booking form all extras such as additional meals, telephone calls, drinks, etc. are additional. We accept the following forms of payment:
Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Maestro, JCB, Pound Sterling, Euro and US Dollars.
All Prices include VAT at the current rate.
Our rates vary according to availability and the season. The rate you are given at time of booking is correct for that given time. Prices can change at no given notice. However once you have made a guaranteed booking with a confirmation number your price is guaranteed.
Prices shown on our website are not valid with any other offer.
To make a reservation a valid credit card must be given, to confirm the room, regardless of how you wish to pay.
Pets
There is a Nominal charge of £15 per pet
Well behaved pets are permitted BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT. We ask you to never leave your pet unattended in your bedroom Pets are not allowed in the public rooms.
All damages must be paid for.
Non Availability
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Damages and Breakages
Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, and we may make an additional charge if you did not report this.
Liability
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Data
Any data gathered during the course of this booking may be held on computer. It will not be passed onto any other organisation. The data may be used for future marketing promotions. If you would prefer not to hear from us please let us know.
Smoking
From 1 March 2007 Smoking is prohibited in all enclosed and substantially enclosed areas of Lastingham Grange. This includes all Bedrooms. This also includes e cigarettes
Those who do not comply with the policy bay be liable to a fixed penalty fine and liable for all cleaning costs.
Dietary Requirements
We aim to cater for most diets. Please let us know your diet at least 1 week prior to arrival Special Requests We will make every effort to try and fulfil your requests; however we cannot guarantee that every request will be fulfilled
PAYMENT POLICY
We accept the following forms of payment: Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Maestro, JCB, Pound Sterling, Euro and US Dollars. For Payments in Euro and US Dollars please give us at least 24 hours notice.
All Prices include VAT at the current rate.
Your bill for the accommodation and any extras or services taken during your stay is payable on departure.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation Charges
-No cancellations are permitted on promotional rates -A Deposit of The first nights stay will be deducted from your card on reservation. In the event of a cancellation this is non refundable or changeable.
In case the reservation is cancelled within 14 days prior to arrival, a further charge may occur up to a total penalty applied of 75pct of total stay.
-If a guest does not arrive for a holiday booked 100% of the holiday will be charged to the guest.
-If you make an Advance Booking no cancellations or changes are permitted -If the room is re sold there will be no cancellation charge -We recommend you take out holiday insurance
